Virtually all American conservatives believe that Christianity is one of the most important things to conserve. Even conservative non-believers pay lip service to Christianity, fearing to offend believers.
Part of Revilo P. Oliver’s ongoing “education” in the post-World War II conservative movement was his realization that Christianity was part of the problem, i.e., that the desire to conserve Christianity made it impossible to conserve anything of genuine value.
Christianity, he concluded, teaches false values that promote weakness and irrationality. The role of the Jews in the Bible also gives them enormous and detrimental spiritual and secular power in Christian lands. Beyond that, Christianity is the product of an alien culture and race, which has thus constricted and perverted all aspects of the Western soul and civilization.
If the white race is to save itself, he reasoned, it will have to free itself of Christianity. Thus Professor Oliver abandoned his earlier attempts to accommodate Christianity, such as his book Christianity and the Survival of the West, and became an increasingly open and trenchant critic.
The Origins of Christianity is Professor Oliver’s attempt to understand Christianity by situating its origins in the broader context of what Spengler called the “Magian” culture, which is ultimately rooted in Persian Zoroastrianism. Begun in 1980, it was left unpolished on his death in 1994.
The Origins of Christianity, like Professor Oliver’s other late work The Jewish Strategy, is one of his freshest and frankest books. Approaching the end of his life, he wears his immense erudition lightly as he seeks to pass on the most urgent and hard-won truths necessary for the survival of Western man.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Revilo Pendleton Oliver (1908–1994), Professor of Classics at the University of Illinois, was a man of stunning erudition: he read eleven languages, including Sanskrit, and for more than half a century wrote scholarly articles in four languages for leading academic publications in the United States and Europe. Born in Texas, Revilo Oliver received his undergraduate degree at Pomona College and his doctorate at the University of Illinois under William Abbot Oldfather. His first book was The Little Clay Cart, an annotated translation of the Sanskrit Mrcchakatika, published by the University of Illinois in 1938.
During World War II, he worked in a highly secret cryptographic agency of the War Department in Washington, DC, and was cited for outstanding service to his country. After his work for the War Department, Dr. Oliver was awarded a Guggenheim Post-Service Fellowship, and during the years 1953 and 1954 he traveled to Italy on a Fulbright Research Fellowship to study Italian Renaissance manuscripts.
In 1954, alarmed by the ongoing political subversion of the United States, Professor Oliver threw himself into conservative activism. He participated in the creation of National Review magazine; he was one of the founders of the John Birch Society; he made numerous speeches before patriotic groups; he wrote hundreds of articles and reviews. Eventually, his disillusion with the conservative movement led him to become an avowed racial nationalist.

When did he write this? No date is given.
The book was begun in 1980, and it was left in unpolished form when Professor Oliver committed suicide in 1994.
Why did Oliver kill himself?
To spare himself a slow death from cancer.
This is clearly one of Prof. Oliver’s most important works. I read it all the time.
A White Nationalist Christian can be religiously deconstructed through rationalism and suspicions about the Jews who gave us our Bible.
(I enjoy watching the televangelists raise money from White Gentile Christians through propaganda for Jews. We learn much about the dismal state of our Racial Spirit through exhibits such as those.)
What is the religion of White Nationalism? Do we have not faith in anything transcendental except our symbol word “Destiny”? What happens when money and health run out? How to we march toward some great Destiny away from dismal Diversity if we don’t believe in something loving and powerful that is beyond ourselves?
I’d rather pray to Jesus than to Aryan Destiny, because I see more failures of Aryans at remaining Aryan than I do of Jesus remaining Jesus.
Will I hold hands with drug and alcohol free skinheads and sing death metal songs with them instead of whistling Dixie and chanting Onward Christian Soldiers?
I heard Greg Johnson say on radio that “my race is my religion.”
His “race” as it could be but won’t be and hasn’t been since 1900, or the Aryan blood in his veins, which will one day get sick and die, as will happen to every member of our race?
Do we pray?
Do we believe?
I know we hate, that’s easy. Sometimes I pray hate. I thank God that I am not mongrel, and I pray he defends me from my enemies. I pray for my enemies to make it back home to Ghana, where God wants them to be.
To not be disgusted by Diversity is to not be religious. To accept mongrelization is atheism.
I pray for forgiveness from all the sins within me that keep me weak, timid, and tired. I pray for Destiny, not to Destiny.
I pray for freedom from my enemies.
I pray to God, and tell him that if the Jews were supposed to be my chosen people, he could have made me a Jew instead of an Aryan. Not having been made a Jew, accepting the Jew god in the Bible complicates things. We are submerged by the ADL and suffer spiritually from the complications thereof.
Why pray to a Jew God when the Jews want us to be mongrelized out of existence? Who would believe in a god like that?
But still believing in God, I’ll beg him for strength to reach Destiny and race survival. If anything, such prayers can justify righteous defense. Race Realism is a good start.
Oliver’s writings on Christianity from The Origins of Christianity to The Jewish Strategy are very good. Top notch.
*I highly suggest this book to anyone, especially those who want to look into this “side” of the debate on Christianity (AKA those who may be suffering from Pro-Christian delusions, maybe due to their friends converting to CI or something?).*
Don’t be fooled by those who twist words. Christianity is an alien religion to our people.
Oliver offers a great and factual perspective on Christianity. If you desire a very different one, Revolt Against the Modern World by Julius Evola offers a great historical-metaphysical perspective, especially in chapters 33-35
Never really got why some wish to call Christianity “JEWISH” when that word was never in the Bible until the 1800s and even then was just a bad translation for someone of the Tribe of Judah. Jews of today admit in all of their own writtings that they are not Israelites. Archeology and science and history all know full well that these people aka the Alan Greenspan’s of the world are not the same as the Israelite’s of old. They know this, the Jewish writtings teach this – yet they also play the other game of pretending that they are the same so that weel meaning non-Jews will pay homage to them and their quests for domination. Yet WN’ist continue to buy this line of thinking just like the beguiled Judeo paying money to the televangleist so that he can help save “the Israelites”. Hogwash…
As for Olivers BS rants about how Christianity is a ripoff of pagan ideologies – too bad he isn’t around for debate but all the works that these folks refference has long ago been debunked – SEE:

In his introduction to the book “Shattering the Christ myth” , Earman writes: “… the interesting questions are whether the assertion merits belief, and whether the enterprise is conducive to producing well-founded belief.” He goes on to note that :The answers ..can only be reached by careful, case-by-case investigations [which] …are often unrewarding, and can be downright tedious. Charles Berlitz’s The Bermuda Triangle (1974) sold several million copies [whereas] Larry Kusche’s The Mystery of the Bermuda Triangle – Solved (1986) was never a best-seller … [it] shows that there is no mystery at all…”
There is a lesson here for all those who work hard to rebut the sensationalist and ignorant views that the public seems to lap up, while paying little heed to the many careful rebuttals. How else could one account for the huge sales of works like The Da Vinci Code and the relative neglect of the various good answers to such pernicious mendacity? It was ever thus: as scripture says [2 Timothy 4.3f.]:
For the time is coming when people will not put up with sound doctrine, but having itching ears, they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own desires, and will turn away from listening to the truth and wander away to myths.
