One of my favourite Arkona tracks! Though, their absolute best is this epic of a song, Na Moey Zemle (in my land), which is a collaboration with several other European folk metal acts from Sweden, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany and The Netherlands. It’s a song about a Russian warrior who leaves his motherland on a search for what it is to be happy, on his travels (to the countries listed) he meets people and asks them what they conceive happiness to be about. They tell him, their land, traditions, folk, children and gods. The Russian journeys back home to find happiness there.
