    Ridiculous. Imagine that while Russia was mucking with this malarky, in the US Warren Weaver was amassing grant money to explore the chemical basis of chromosomes, which Oswald Avery would show to be DNA. Compare the stature and dignity of the two civilizations!

    Agree with the above. I wondered why they didn’t just import some ape-like
    humans from Central Africa or the Outback and see what could be done with them.
    I recall reading Carelton S. Coon back in high school and I remember his noting immediately that the Australoids actually have some bio-chemical traits helpful to living in the wild.

    I agree with Savitri Devi in Impeachment of Man. Scientists should use each other in their experiments.
