Thank you this compendium of readings on Adolf Hitler and closely related topics. I have recently bought the book “Adolf Hitler aus dem Erleben dargestellt” von Hans Severus Ziegler; another book about him: “Ein anderer Hitler” von Hermann Giesler (his favorite architect); or “War Hitler ein Diktator” from Prince Friedrich Christian zu Schaumburg-Lippe. The essay “The Making of a Tyrant” by Francis Neilson from 1958 is also very valuable as it shows the Making, rather than the Being, of Hitler as a tyrant. I found an accessible copy of the essay on the internet: http://www.cooperativeindividualism.org/neilson-francis_making-of-a-tyrant-1958.html. These people knew him personally or, in the case of Francis Neilson, pondered his appearance from afar with a thinking mind. Their portrait of him shows an Adolf Hitler completely different from the caricatures we are and have been inundated with.
Thank You.
These collection posts are always helpful in steering people away from what they think they know.
