Never Trust a Conservative

1,824 words

paul_ryan-113th_congress

Soft, cowardly, pleading, treacherous Paul Ryan

“Never trust a conservative.” As an oft-repeated mantra in Paul Christensen’s recent novel The Hungry Wolves of Van Diemen’s Land, this sentiment accuses so-called conservatives as being closeted liberals who are only a few decades behind on the liberal curve. As our civilization lurches leftward, what seemed cutting edge liberal years ago (for example, black-white miscegenation), conservatives now consider to be mainstream and healthy . . . or at least they don’t have the courage to challenge it. The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood

Howard Pyle
The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood
New York: Scribner’s, 1883 (and many subsequent editions)

“Merry, old England.” Such a turn of phrase sounds preposterous to our post-modern world. Yet, with Howard Pyle’s The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood, the reader is thrust into a world that is both familiar and foreign. A world that is centuries gone, but could also be the day after tomorrow.  Read more …

Stop Being Frisky:
Why Trump is Right about Stop & Frisk

nypoststopfrisk1,714 words

In recent days, I’ve been hearing an abnormal amount of criticism of Donald Trump for “policies on race relations that basically amount to ‘reinstitute stop and frisk.’” As usual, the statements are being made in a tone that makes it obvious that the speaker considers it simply beyond the pale to question whether or not those stop and frisk policies were doing anything right. Remembering Aleister Crowley:
October 12, 1875–December 1, 1947

Aleister Crowley by Charles Krafft

Aleister Crowley by Charles Krafft

252 words

Aleister Crowley was an English poet, novelist, painter, and mountaineer who is most famous as an occultist, ceremonial magician, and founder of the religion and philosophy of Thelema. But ironically Crowley’s supposed Satanism and Black Magic are far less frightening to most people than his politics. For Aleister Crowley was also a man of the Right.

Make Weimerica Grate Again:
A Review of the “Daddy Will Save Us” Art Show

1796 words

Last Saturday night in Manhattan, a few good shitlords made art history. At the “Daddy Will Save Us” art show, event organizer Lucian Wintrich stated that this was “the first conservative art show in America.” But there really wasn’t anything typically “conservative” about this event — rather, it was the most radically avant-garde art show possible in The Current Year. If this was conservatism, it was revolutionary conservatism.  Read more …

Antebellum Dindu Adventure
The Birth of a Nation (2016)

birth-of-a-nation2,185 words

I wanted the full experience, so I went to go see The Birth of a Nation (2016) in a black neighborhood. That in and of itself was actually pretty entertaining. For starters, I don’t think I’ve ever seen more people browsing their sailfoams during a movie. There was always extra light emanating from somewhere in the theater. Black people are also extremely loud, so loud in fact that an employee, also black, had to come in and tell people to be quiet during the movie. Read more …

Columbus Day Special
Life Styles: Native & Imposed

2,856 words

For decades now, African American leaders have been calling for a formal United States apology for the American role in the slave trade, with some even demanding reparations. Indian tribes proclaim their tax-exempt status as something they are owed for a legacy of persecution by the United States. Mexican Americans in the southwest United States seek to incorporate this region, including California, into Mexico, or even to set up an independent nation, Aztlan, that will recreate the glories of the Aztec empire, destroyed centuries ago by the imperialistic Spaniards.  Read more …

What the Alt Right Isn’t

4,568 words

dontdolist-resized-600In the early days of GRECE, the think tank of the Nouvelle Droite (New Right), which included such luminaries as Alain de Benoist and Pierre Vial, it was considered necessary to make a clean break with the failures of the past, totems that many on the Right still clung to. This new generation of writers, mostly in their 20s during the cultural revolution of ’68, felt that nostalgia for a lost cause — and there were several — stood in the way of their values finding political and cultural support from the majority of their countryman. Anti-American Protests in Seoul

There is a great deal of talk about an “America First” foreign policy. At the same time, there is a looming fear in the United States of Asian economic dynamism and rising Asian military and diplomatic power. To kill two birds with one stone, it is a good idea to make South Korea the first place to apply an “America First” foreign policy. Identidad Étnica Estadounidense

1,099 words

BentonTraducción por Francisco Albanese; English original here

Read more …

Do We Need Enemies?
Introducing the Amoeba Model of Political Change

Jean-Léon Gérôme, Pollice Verso (detail), 1872

2,019 words

Early on in Samuel Huntington’s classic political analysis, The Clash of Civilizations, he makes the following point: “For peoples seeking identity and reinventing ethnicity, enemies are essential, and the potentially most dangerous enmities occur across the fault lines between the world’s major civilizations.”

Well, that’s us, of course. If anything, the Alt Right is “seeking identity and reinventing ethnicity” for white people wherever they are. This is our driving force, and I don’t need to explain it further here. But is it true that we need enemies to do this?  Read more …

While Twinsters is about a set of adopted identical South Korean twins reared apart who meet fortuitously through the internet, (thanks to Facebook and YouTube), Twinsters has a particular and thought-provoking relevance to race and White Nationalism.

It is well known in White Nationalist circles that it is only whites, the ‘’ultra-privileged,’’ that are expressly forbidden by the anti-white political establishment to look out for their own identity and interests. Read more …

Men Going Their Own Way:
An Alt-Right Take

mgtow2,024 words

Many organizations and movements on the Right can be construed as push-back against Cultural Marxism. While the Alt Right certainly does do this, I wouldn’t include it in this group. In a world without Cultural Marxism, you can still have an Alt Right (although at that point, we’d probably drop the “Alt”). This is because we stand for things more than we stand against them, for example, a positive white racial identity, peaceful ethno-nationalism, and more or less traditional, commonsense values beyond that.  Read more …

One of the ideas that helped create the “Alt-Right” was laid out by Robert D. Putman in his book Bowling Alone (2000).[1] Putnam argues that after the social revolution of the 1960s introduced the horrors of “vibrancy” and “diversity” on America, civic society itself began to fragment. Read more …

Remembering Roy Campbell:
October 2, 1901–April 22, 1957

Roy Campbell was a South African poet and essayist. T. S. Eliot, Dylan Thomas, and Edith Sitwell praised Campbell as one of the best poets of the inter-war period. Unfortunately, his conservatism, Nietzscheanism, and Catholicism, as well as his open contempt for the Bloomsbury set and his participation in the Spanish Civil War on the Fascist side have led his works to be consigned to the memory hole.
