As everyone knows by now, just three days after the “Unite the Right” debacle in Charlottesville, a coordinated attack was launched by the Left against multiple individuals, organizations, and websites on the Right.
Counter-Currents had its PayPal account shut down, as did VDare and AmRen. Counter-Currents also lost its web hosting company (though an alternative has now been found). The same thing happened to TRS. The Daily Stormer looks like it has been shut down for good. Numerous individuals have been banned from Twitter and Facebook. VDare’s April 2018 conference has been shut down by the venue. And there’s more on this long list and it is still growing. Those interested in a more detailed summation can read Greg Johnson’s account. This crackdown on thought criminals has also received widespread media attention, including commentary by Tucker Carlson who, to his credit, has framed it as an attack on freedom of speech (couching it in the usual caveats about how much he hates hate, blah, blah, blah).
So many individuals and organizations were hit, and so swiftly — all within the space of a day or two — that this attack seems to have been carefully planned in advance. Although I am not normally a conspiracy theorist, I’m inclined to see this assault not as an impromptu reaction against Unite the Right, but as part of larger operation that included the unfortunate events of Charlottesville themselves.
As we now know, the violence that occurred in Charlottesville was allowed to happen — it was, in effect, planned. Police had orders to stand down and not to separate the “Alt Right” demonstrators from the Left-wing counter-demonstrators, who showed up with baseball bats and mace and drain cleaner (to throw in eyes that refuse to open to the cause of peace, love, and tolerance).
That violence would erupt was so predictable it could probably cure David Hume of his skepticism about induction. And, on cue, immediately the leftist press began pushing the narrative that the violence was entirely the fault of the Right. And, again on cue, the Great Purge began as one after another after another of us was rapidly hit. It was as if somebody in a control room somewhere dropped his bagel, picked up the phone, and simply said “Launch Operation Deathstar.” Whereupon orders went out to Google, PayPal, Facebook, Patreon, Instagram, KickStarter, GoDaddy, and even Uber.
This was the Left’s Reichstag Fire: the event they had been looking for to try to shut us down in every way possible. Some companies needed little persuasion, and no doubt acted on their own, and spontaneously. Others were clearly “gotten to” and asked “after Charlottesville, how can you possibly justify continuing to . . . ?” To which, craven cowards that they are, they naturally had no response.
None of these recent events should be at all surprising to us. All that is surprising is that they didn’t come sooner.
But now here is the good news: it’s not working. In fact, we are emerging stronger than we were before. Operation Deathstar was intended not just to cripple our operations, but to demoralize us. That’s just not happening, and it’s no surprise. Throughout history, despotic systems have launched massive, coordinated strikes against dissidents and it has always had the predictable result that the dissidents got angrier, more organized, more united, and more determined. And that’s exactly what is now taking place, my friends.
Counter-Currents has found ways around its abandonment by PayPal and its webhosting company. It’s not going anywhere. And, ironically, this assault seems to be having the effect of Uniting the Right. (With a few predictable counter-signalers.) A number of organizations and individuals on the Right are now in conversation about how best to coordinate their efforts, safeguard themselves against further assault, and how to strike back. I’ve not seen this much unity on the Right since eight of us got briefly stuck on an elevator at an AmRen conference years ago.
And you can feel the love: we’ve all been hurt, we’re all in this together, and we’ve got to help our neighbor. Greg Johnson’s PayPal assets were frozen for a period of six months. What to do? He immediately informed his readers and suddenly donations, most small but some significant, began not trickling in but pouring. He likened it to the scene in Dunkirk, where the horizon is filled with little boats from Great Britain, all sailing in to do their part, however small. That scene brought a tear to my eye, and so has the loyal support of readers of this website. Also, Greg’s web traffic almost doubled in the days following Charlottesville, when we were in the thick of the assault, and everyone had heard. Thank you, Antifa.
Others on the Right are also successfully finding solutions to this temporary setback — and a major thrust of our efforts is going to be the creation of our own cyber infrastructure, which will free us from dependency on companies infected by political correctness, or vulnerable to Marxist coercion.
What is the way forward, the way to respond to the present crisis and emerge stronger than before? Again, that’s already happening, but here are some random notes:
First, as I’ve already said, we need to become as independent as we can from reliance on Left-dominated companies and services. We need to do our own webhosting, for example. This is an area where there’s room for a great deal of brainstorming on the part of our compatriots, many of whom are very tech savvy, and far more tech savvy than I.
Second, we must get the message to the people that it is the Left that is violent and destructive. “Law and Order” was a successful message for Trump, as it was for Nixon. We need more ordinary Americans to see the violence and hatred of the Left. Presently, incidents are being under-reported or “spun” by the Establishment media. What’s the solution? Cause the incidents to proliferate to a point where the media cannot hide them all, and the public draws the right generalizations from repeated instances. How do we proliferate the incidents? By triggering the left — over and over again. This must be handled carefully, however, because we do not want another Charlottesville — another melee where blame can be laid on us, depending on how the footage is cut together for the evening news.
We need to take inspiration from Europe’s Génération Identitaire, who unfurled an anti-immigration banner on the Brandenburg Gate, and covered a statue of Empress Maria Theresa with a burqa. (All of this, I must admit, appeals to me because it reminds me of Project Mayhem — see my essay on Fight Club in my new book.) These incidents made international news and caused the Left to go apeshit. Use your imaginations, please. The possibilities for repeated triggering are endless.
Third, where possible, we need to take legal action against companies that discriminate against us for our political views. For example, Airbnb scoured the social media of people who had reserved accommodations in Charlottesville and cancelled the accounts of anyone who seemed to the right of Pol Pot. This kind of stuff is actionable, folks, no matter what vague language they may have put in their “terms of service.” Suing people is not my bag, just because I have other things I’d rather do with my time. But in this war, we have different roles to play, and different projects. Legal action is not our top priority, partly because we cannot expect fairness from the courts. But some of the time you do get it, or you at least get a settlement. Let’s just hit these people every way we can.
Tucker Carlson, Paul Joseph Watson, and others have already floated the idea of declaring companies like Google, YouTube, and PayPal public utilities, in which case they would be prohibited by law from discriminating against people based on their politics. There is actually a very plausible case to be made for considering these companies to be monopolies. Indeed, the case for regulating them is so strong, it would probably eventually be made in a context unconnected to free speech issues. We need to push this idea for all it’s worth, in every way we can, in every venue. Yes, write to your Congressman.
Fourth, no more Mr. Nice Guy: a lot of the fellows I know on the Right are very concerned with honor. This is good, and we need to be honorable with each other. But our sense of honor is a weakness if we allow our enemies to use it against us. Our enemies really are what they accuse of us being: evil. They are twisted, dishonest freaks so set against life and truth and normalcy, Nietzsche and Rand would consider them implausible caricatures. These people feel that there are no limits to their behavior; that any action they take against us is morally justified. They are wrong about this. But if we adopted the same attitude we would be right. And we should. They really are evil, and they really are a threat to the existence of our people and our culture and everything in the world that is fine and decent.
This means that we are justified in adopting some of our enemies’ tactics, and all of their ruthlessness. I do not mean perpetrating acts of violence — not so much because that would be wrong, but because it would turn the unconverted against us. But we must not shrink from going on the offensive against these people in every other way we can. This includes ruining their lives and careers through public exposure of their actions (e.g., their violence), or their very private and personal foibles. Note that this is justified when directed against the Left. When Right-wingers direct such tactics against their own they must be shunned, as Greg Johnson has cogently argued elsewhere. Again, with each other we must behave honorably — but we have no obligation to do so with an enemy as vile as the one we face.
Now, with respect to the ruthlessness I have recommended that we adopt against the Left, please don’t let me hear any Judeo-Christian moralistic nonsense on the order of “won’t we become like them?” No matter what we do, we can never become like them, because whatever we do is done in the cause of right and truth. Yes, I know that they think that too. But they are wrong about that. We are right.
And, finally, we need to keep our chins up and our upper lips stiff. (Just like the chaps did at Dunkirk.) The enemy hit us and they hit us hard. But they did so because now more than ever they feel threatened by us. The Left is still reeling from the victory of Donald Trump, which they are correct in perceiving was at least partly a result of White America’s reaction against the insanity of Social Justice. The tide is turning. They sense it, and they are afraid that they are losing control. Ultimately, our victory is certain, because no ideology in revolt against reality can rule the minds and hearts of men forever.

“though an alternative has now been found”
Glad to hear that. This site is one of the few I read on a regular basis. I may not agree with all I read here, but it is usually useful and thought-provoking.
Hey Ted, may I inquire which other websites you look at daily? I am running into rather a dry spot for interesting material.
Besides this one, I pick AltRight.com, to see what the “Alt Right” proper is up to. VDARE is usually good just to quickly check news stories and what’s up with immigration restriction (and Sailer and Derbyshire are usually good for a few laughs). Occidental Observer is sometimes useful. More rarely I may check out Amren. For population genetics, etc. there is Dienekes blog, but that hasn’t been updated as frequently these days in the past (which may be a function of a paucity of articles to cover – a lot of the “low hanging fruit” of what population geneticists like to cover has already been picked. Things that need to be covered – genetic kinship, human genetic integration/structure – they shy away from, probably for political reasons).
I really don’t look at as many sites today as I did in the past. When you’ve been involved in the “movement” as long as I have, much of it becomes repetitious. This blog here as some original material. I also spend time working on my own blog – EGI Notes.
Thx, I pretty much look at exactly the same stuff, excepting altright since Richard spencer left. Great minds read alike, lol! (We talked about Jack Vance b4).
I’ve been finding things have gotten stale. I think this may simply be related to the idea that when a new forum arises for a previously taboo topic, there is a flood of material to talk about and pressure to vent, but then mundanely, not much is really happening on a day to day basis.
The MSM is one of four real sources of power in American politics. They have redoubled their efforts at thought control.
We must find ways to “trigger” the bastards in ways that further delegitimize them in the eyes of the public.
Just as telephone companies cannot interfere with what customers talk about, neither should monopolistic Internet entities. Extending common carrier status to Google, YouTube, and Facebook is a step in the right direction.
I would go further. Traditional media is not going anywhere, nor will it be made “irrelevant” by the Internet for a very long time. Our favorite tribe and other special interests (Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim, for example) have it all but locked up. This must change:
(1) Enact and enforce anti-trust legislation to break up the national and transnational media cartels and media monopolies.
(2) Outlaw and require sale of all existing foreign equity or debt stakes in any FCC broadcast license holder.
(3) Prohibit any US citizen from holding any financial stake, whether by equity, debt, permanent license of copyright or trademark, in more than one FCC licensee.
(4) Convert all FCC licensees and all Cable Television and Satellite Television franchisees into common carriers required to sell all their broadcast time to non-related parties by public auction.

Off topic, but I wanted to share an idea from another blogger regarding Left and recent events in Charlottesville:
Go on the offensive:
“The first, absolutely indispensable step is infiltrating the opposition. We must learn the individual identities of those who gather to suppress us, and we must pursue them individually, just as they strive to pursue us. If they have gatherings, some of ours must be present. If they don’t, we must tap their communications and monitor them ceaselessly. The information we can gather that way is beyond price.
“Once we know who they are, it’s a short step from there to learning where they will be. That gives us what we’ll need for what must follow: charges, against both the individuals and the groups, of conspiring to violate others’ civil rights. That’s a federal criminal charge that can’t be dismissed. According to our family lawyer, a police commander who tells his subordinates to disregard such complaints is himself guilty of misfeasance – for instructing his men to commit nonfeasance — so make sure all such complaints are properly witnessed.
“Even if those charged ultimately escape prison sentences, they’ll suffer from the experience of having to defend themselves against the charges. As the saying goes, “the process is the punishment.” It might be enough to deter them all by itself.”

Another thing I want to do is ask, do we have a plan for boots-on-ground outreach? Antifa does!

Great Article. I laughed out loud on reading your joke about David Hume and induction.
The Daily Stormer is back again:
https://dstormer6em3i4km.onion.link/
It’s fascinating watching them fight back against ZOG and keep re-appearing.
Great article, thank you!
On the issue of honor or of, ahem, pietas, we are under greater scrutiny than the Enemy and our dishonor will be seen as such, where theirs won’t. I am for squeaky clean, as an end in itself.
Otherwise, there is much I have to say but I’ll limit it to my observation that, did anyone notice how the major tv networks, even fox, all referred to the protestors as “white nationalists” right out of the gate? To me wn is an esoteric term which could not have applied to a majority of the rightists out there. The media had somehow been primed to use this appellation to someone’s political end.
Formally recognize AntiFa as a terrorist organization
https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/formally-recognize-antifa-terrorist-organization-0
Our job is to win the White public.
Why does the public agree with the StasiFa… why can the lying media sell the StasiFa as the good guys? Because the Right is seen as tyrannical; and rightfully so. The Right stands for imposing its views, for forcing people to behave the way the Right wants, just look at any forum thread ffs, while the Left is seen as the defender of liberty, of self-determination (or at least as a dearly desired bulwark against rightist violence-lunatics).
Ethno-identitarianism can easily be sold to the White public by referring to self-segregation (White Flight): they obviously want to separate. And we have to tell them that it´s ok to do so. But the connection with the typical rightist image of violence and authoritarianism deters them.
As I always say: it´s the greatest tragedy that ethno-identitarianism is connected with the Right.
Also, please everyone, notice the rank hypocrisy (I think it is) the political LEFT demonstrates in the wake of the Charlottesville incident. A half century ago the political LEFT (Dems and RINOs) began the claim that private persons using their property (house sales, rentals, business, restaurants, hotels etc) to serve the public were to be controlled by law. And that law says that the gov’t and not the individual property owner decides who it is offered to and who it can be denied to. We all know that this was aimed at Whites in the main.
Never mind the national/federal gov’t had absolutely no authority to legislate upon this type of thing. US Congress got around this by packing courts with LEFTIST politicians wearing black robes and masquerading as jurists, who then turned around and rubber stamped whatever Congress enacted (provided it was LEFTIST), all so as to claim the outward trappings of constitutionality.
Nowadays some are offering service to the public with their own private property and yet are denying to some others. The chant now is that this (internet services like google/paypal/etc but also hotel/convention reservations) is private and the gov’t cannot regulate it.
To me, this is duplicitous. It’s the same legerdemain the US courts used when they concocted that load of bs called fundamental rights vs. non-fundamental rights. Fundamental rights were speech, assembly, freedom not to see/hear Christianity in public places, be convicted of criminal acts but only if police and local gov’t obtained evidence in a way the US courts personally thought it should have been obtained in addition to guilt beyond reasonable doubt. If a local/state gov’t had legislative acts (the only legit law) that the US courts thought were allowing unrestricted conduct of any of the aforementioned then said US courts would claim unconstitutionality.
Non-fundamental rights were not having property taken only for public use and that paid for by fair market value, possession (without gov’t permission) of fire arms. If local/state gov’ts trespassed against any of these and a case ended up in front of US courts, then US courts could (and sometimes did) rule that those were non-fundamental rights and not protected by the US Const. Bill of Rights.
See how that works? If local/state gov’ts display anything Christian, ban obscenity/porno, do not allow public assembly of violent mobs, do not allow college and public school teachers to proselytize their students with LEFTIST politics while receiving public salaries, or recognize marriage for sex perverts, then US courts can claim unconstitutionality to this political Right. But if local/state gov’ts are LEFTIST and try to prohibit/restrict firearms ownership/use, try to confiscate private property or the use of it then the US courts can claim that is constitutional.
Political Right laws, unconstitutional. Political LEFT, constitutional. Same principle for tech usage; use of private property in a way the political LEFT dislikes, law can be used to criminalize it. Use of private property in a way the political Right dislikes, law does not apply (you are out of luck).
I’ve never used bitcoin, but after the recent purges I learned how. It’s easy. I recommend everyone do the same. We need to insure we have a means to keep the dollars flowing to those under duress.
The article didn’t mention them, but I would think that Stormfront would be one of those that would be deplatformed and defunded. As of very late Wed. 8/23/2017 they are still online.
https://www.stormfront.org/forum/
What the “right” or “white” movement needs is its own ADL or SPLC as a central fund-raising entity to aid against all attacks by the left and their (((progenitors))). After the Charlottesville setup (which is coming to light with each passing minute), both of the aforementioned jewish organizations saw dramatic increases in donations to their “cause”. Since we have a vastly great number of individuals in our camp (though not as illicitly wealthy), there would naturally be a similar increase by white nationalists and other concerned occidental Americans to this proposed White People’s Law Center coffers. This is an idea which has to be considered if we are to do battle in this money-driven world.
I couldn’t agree more!!!”White Preservationist” is the correct title for our movement. Any other name can be easily attacked by the progs as being “white supremacist” (which in today’s political climate is – let’s face it – impossible to defend against). IOWs we are in the business of building a coalition of people that want to save the White race; thus, I strongly agree with you that the title we work under has to be palatable to those we are trying to recruit. White Preservationists.
The war against White people has been going on for some time. Any chance of Counter-Currents republishing Clark Howard’s out-of-print Zebra: The True Account of the 179 Days of Terror in San Francisco? As C.F. Robinson has written in these pages, “this is an important book”. The Zebra Project blog maintains the murders in San Francisco were just a small part of a large murder campaign conducted in those years (and beyond?) by NOI, orchestrated through mosques in each city from its headquarters in Chicago.
The book is easy to find used.
By the way, I’d like to thank Counter-Currents for publishing works such as Savitri Devi’s amazing The Lightning and the Sun, which I’m reading now.
True. There were perhaps a dozen or so used copies available on-line when I checked. But, these books are almost 40 years old. C.F. Robinson himself writes the pages of his used copy are “brittle and yellowed with age.” Having such a remote publication date also means there are no pristine new copies available for purchase by libraries, book clubs, university courses, etc. Indeed, it is from libraries’ purging old stock that such used copies are being made available. Moreover, a newer edition could incorporate new information about the case such as has come to light in the decades since Howard’s book came out. Not only are there “no award-winning documentaries” about the Zebra Killings, the lone worthwhile book about it is only getting older by the day. Finally, a new book called The Zebra Murders, by Prentice Earl Sanders and Ben Cohen, came out in 2011. Robinson says, “The book seems to be a deliberately deceptive work.” But, that is the work people will know because the older, more accurate treatment has effectively been suppressed through neglect.
There are some very valuable ideas pronounced in this article. To force Google to become a Public Utility with all its obligations is an outstanding suggestion. That would put some humility in these creeps. Likewise, youtube would benefit from that.
We are at war for our survival as ethnic group and as moral beings and things will become increasingly less nice as time and events march on, but this merely signifies that the fronts become more clearly visible. The title of a book by Alain de Benoist “Recognizing the Enemy” (in German “Feinderkenntnis” is pronouncing this most important point. We must be aware of who the enemy is and from that point on we can treat this entity as such, no more considerations of politeness or benefit of the doubt are possible from that point.
One most important but extremely trivial insight follows from this essay:
We need funds in order to wage this war. Our enemy is awash with funds, which is the only reason why he can further his goals and propagate absurd, hateful, counter-intuitive and universally rejected ideas. Every normal human being is a nationalist by reason and by heart, and only by ceaseless, clever manipulation and repetition can the unnatural system of anti-racialism and anti-nationalism become a matter of public discourse. This is only possible through the agency of a lot of money being pumped into this unnatural venture.
We need to devise ways of abundant funding.
