Upcoming Counter-Currents Events
Jared Taylor at the Northwest Forum & The Francis Parker Yockey Centennial
News Item
Counter-Currents is sponsoring two events in August and September. Both events are private, invitation-only gatherings. Who attends and what is said are off the record. If you are a friend of Counter-Currents, or if you would like to submit your name for “extreme vetting,” please contact Greg Johnson at [email protected].
The Northwest Forum: Saturday, August 26th in the Puget Sound Area
At the Fifth Meeting of the Northwest Forum, we will have three speakers:
- Jared Taylor of American Renaissance who will be speaking on “A Quarter Century of White Advocacy” and signing copies of his new book If We Do Nothing.
- Augustus Invictus who will speak on “Carl Schmitt and the Failures of Liberalism”
- Greg Johnson who will speak on “Whitopia”
Margot Metroland will be the Mistress of Ceremonies. There will also be a party on Friday, August 25th. For more information, please contact Greg Johnson [email protected].
The Francis Parker Yockey Centennial Celebration: Monday, September 18th, Somewhere in Cascadia
Francis Parker Yockey was born on September 18th, 1917. To celebrate his 100th birthday, Counter-Currents is holding a dinner. Originally this event was going to be held in New York City, but we have had to move it to the West Coast.
- Greg Johnson will give a presentation on the state of Yockey research, including slides of many never-before-seen Yockey photographs.
- Counter-Currents will also celebrate the publication of The World in Flames: The Shorter Writings of Francis Parker Yockey, ed. Kerry Bolton.
- Charles Krafft will unveil a Yockey commemorative plate.
Again, for more information, please contact Greg Johnson [email protected].

Wish I could attend. Hopefully there will be some footage of this available afterwards. Also, speaking of Bolton and Yockey….is there an ETA of Bolton’s biography of FPY? It’s a shame that we’re currently stuck with Coogan’s bio.
I have no date for the Yockey bio.
Bardeche’s account of Yockey from ‘Suzanne et le taudis is given in the bio. Yockey seems to have been ill at the time of their meeting with Binet, and the meeting did not go well. A bladder problem seems to be the main point of comment.
Dr. Johnson, why not translate and publish the excerpts from Maurice Bardèche’s works dealing with FP Yockey? He is mentioned, somewhat critically, in Bardèche’s autobiographical novel ‘Suzanne et le taudis,’ and later evoked in his ‘Souvenirs’, much more favourably. The latter book is available online, the former isn’t.
Send me the texts.
It was Jared Taylor’s AmRen website that did the most to open my eyes, and the possibility of getting to see him on the West Coast is overdue. The opportunity to network with others in the West Coast/Pacific Northwest region is also due for more exposure. I have submitted a request for vetting. Thanks for posting this announcement.
This is great to hear about these Yockey memorial dinners and this commemoration in September. He is honored by so few and I wish more people would understand his works. Imperium!
The other, Castle Air Force Base , located near Atwater was closed during the Base
Realignment and Closure of the 1990s.
I think it would be a cool idea, given the Yockey anniversary to do a podcast where you go through Imperium chapter by chapter every week. And have a discussion about it with information for new and old readers. Something in between a book club and a university lecture. When Imperium is done it could even turn into something like a book club where every month you select a book of importance or interest to the new right, sell it at a discount if it is in your inventory and then end the month with a podcast about the book.
I think at least two individuals have previously read and/or analysed and uploaded to the internet viva voce mp3s of Imperium (or the main ideas promoted in it) and the sensation in each case (of reader and this listener) at conclusion was that of the monosodium glutamate Chinese meal: not satisfying and occasionally the cause of biliousness.

I heard Tan’s critique of Yockey and a few others. I am convinced these detractors just don’t understand Yockey, or Spengler. Yockey’s approach from a spiritual, and perhaps moral perspective is central. I think Yockey is becoming, not less, relevant as time passed. It is what he predicted.
