Today is the birthday of Robert Brasillach, French journalist, novelist, and film historian (The History of Motion Pictures, co-written with Maurice Bardéche).

Dark Money

Ed Miliband, then leader of Britain’s Labour Party, addressing the Labour Friends of Israel in 2014.

3,877 words

Money, it’s a hit
Don’t give me that do goody good bullshit

— Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon (1973)

It was not without a deep sense of irony that I recently came across Guardian columnist George Monbiot’s revealing article entitled “Dark money lurks at the heart of our political crisis,” a piece of investigative journalism that claims to provide an insight into the machinations of those who use cash to influence political outcomes. The video of Greg Johnson’s speech at the Blue Awakening Youth Conference in Tallinn, Estonia on February 25, 2019, in which he talks about how studies of the factors driving voters towards populism across the world demonstrate that National Populism isn’t going away anytime soon, and will in fact soon become the norm in many countries. No Punishment for Anti-White Hoaxes

Jussie Smollett leaving the Chicago courthouse after the charges against him were dropped.

1,922 words

Jussie Smollett created the hate hoax of the year – and may suffer no consequences for it.

Chicago prosecutors announced Tuesday that all charges against the black Empire star in connection with his infamous hate hoax would be dropped, and his record would be wiped clean. This sweet deal did not even require Smollett to admit any wrongdoing. The only penalty he paid was the forfeiture of his ten thousand dollar bond and sixteen measly hours of community service.

New Zealand:
The Criminalization of Dissent

The “March for Love” in Auckland on March 23.

3,955 words

New Zealand is in a state of mass hysteria in the wake of the Christchurch mosque shootings, which even a few mainstream media pundits are starting to question, and some are calling for calm reason. A few honest liberals are also questioning the demand for the introduction of “hate speech laws.” Read more …

A Judeo-Christian Walking the Earth:
Highway to Heaven

2,458 words

There needs to be formal recognition of the genre of TV shows where the protagonists “walk the Earth.” The best explanation of these was given by Jules (Samuel L. Jackson) to his partner Vincent (John Travolta) in the film Pulp Fiction:

Jules: First, I’m going to deliver this case to Marsellus, then, basically, I’m just going to walk the Earth.

Michael Sandel’s Anti-White Populist Strategy to Defeat “Right-Wing Populism”

Michael Sandel

1,999 words

The rise of nationalist populism has shaken the globalist establishment far more than the rise of Islamic radicalism did in the 1990s and after. Muslim terrorism merely encouraged globalists to bring more “moderate” Muslims to the West to show undisturbed confidence in the value of diversity. The more Muslims have bombed the West, the more power “moderate” Muslims have gained by way of grants, affirmative action, spread of businesses, regulations against “Islamophobia,” and endless eulogies about their “indispensable” contributions. The Power of Myth:
Remembering Joseph Campbell,
March 26, 1904–October 30, 1987

Joseph Campbell & his wife, Jean Erdman Campbell, c. 1939.

2,318 words

Joseph Campbell, the famed teacher of comparative mythology, was born on this day in 1904. For many people, including yours truly, he has served as a “gateway drug” into not only a new way of looking at myths, but into a non-materialistic way of viewing the world. And although as a public figure, Campbell mostly remained apolitical, evidence from his private life indicates that he was at least nominally a “man of the Right.” Read more …

Danse Macabre

Crystal Pite

2,140 words

I think it was the overly pious tone of her voice that first made my stomach churn: the sickly sentimentality of the pretentious do-gooder, quickly followed by the first sight of Canadian choreographer Crystal Pite’s pallid face, saying things like, “This creation is my way of coping with the world at the moment,” which immediately sent me rushing to the toilet as if I had food poisoning.

Pite continued, “And I can’t not talk about it. Read more …

Whites Must Submit after Christchurch

The correct response of all white people to isolated acts of terrorism by Right-wingers, according to our masters.

1,737 words

Politicians, journalists, and activists all agree that White Nationalism poses the greatest threat to Western democracy, and it must be stamped out by state and corporate power.

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren argued that “white supremacists” pose as much of a threat to America as ISIS, and must be treated as terrorists. “We have to recognize the threat of white nationalism. We’ve got to call it out. As President of the United States, my Justice Department would go after white nationalists with full prosecution,” the 2020 presidential candidate declared.

2,658 words

Active shooter events

As it happens, I’m a mass shooting “survivor.” Got your attention? Okay, I’m not really a survivor of a mass shooting, but I was in an “active shooter” training event where the “shooter,” an off-duty law enforcement professional flanked by orange vest-wearing event coordinators, got in to my Big American Corporate Cubicle Farm and fired off a bunch of blanks while shouting F-Bombs. Biospenglerianism

Dr. Edward Dutton

1,766 words

We know from Spengler that each great civilization goes through a cycle: hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men. On the Dissident Right, our belief is in personal responsibility, in taking ownership for who and what we are. If we accept this intellectually, it gives us a blind spot with regard to biology and just how immutable heritability is, however. Blood trumps culture and policy, even naked power. Heritability is the ultimate red-pill, and in some ways the ultimate black-pill (and then a white-pill).

The Higher Cognitive Fluidity of the European Mind

Julian Jaynes

7,982 words

Half of my book, The Uniqueness of Western Civilization, is about discrediting the multicultural claim that, as late as the mid-1700s, the West was no more advanced than the major civilizations of Asia, or China in particular, and that only a set of fortuitous circumstances gave the West a chance to industrialize first. The West did not “stumble” accidentally into the New World, I argued, and it was not “easy access” to the resources of the Americas, enslavement of blacks, or availability of cheap coal in Britain that made Britain’s takeoff possible.

Converting Falsehoods into Truth:
Notes on Science, History, & Postmodern Strategies of Control, Part III

Stephen Jay Gould, who taught that Western science is racism.

4,879 words

Part III of III (Part II here)

Punctuated history and continuous narratives of disruption

Stephen Jay Gould’s theory of punctuated equilibrium should not be treated as an isolated scientific theory whose author believed it to be the most defensible assessment of existing facts. It should rather be recognized as part of a larger rhetorical effort to reform the philosophy of history which predicates the received historical notions upon which the social and political intuitions of white Westerners are contingent. Equus

152 words / 1:20:05

In the latest installment of Guide to Kulchur, John Morgan and Survive the Jive again join Fróði Midjord to talk about Sidney Lumet’s film Equus (1977), about a psychiatrist (played by Sir Richard Burton) questioning a seventeen-year-old stable boy who savagely blinded six horses with a metal spike, to find out the reason for his bizarre act. He discovers that the young man has been worshipping horses as an expression of a particularly pagan longing for the primordial forces of vitality. Read more …

The Christchurch Shooting & Liberal Hypocrisy

Australia’s Senator Fraser Anning, one of many victims of double standards against white Rightists in the mainstream media.

1,074 words

In the aftermath of the Christchurch shooting on March 15, Australian Senator Fraser Anning was widely criticized by the media for saying that “the real cause of bloodshed on New Zealand streets today is the immigration program which allowed Muslim fanatics to migrate to New Zealand in the first place.” He was right: there are virtually no examples in human history of peoples passively acquiescing to foreign invasion and demographic replacement. This is a statement of fact. Throughout history, peoples in such situations have almost always reacted violently to the encroachment of foreigners upon their territory. Read more …

Hungary & Poland United Against Brussels:
The March 15 National Day Speeches in Budapest

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki during his speech in Budapest on March 15.

2,315 words

Every March 15, Hungary celebrates her 1848-49 struggle for freedom, which was a fight against the Habsburg Empire led by – among others – Hungarian republicans who were supported by Poland, most notably General Bem, the last general still standing at the end of the uprising.

On this day, Hungarians wear a cockade with national colors and celebrate the unity of the Nation. On this occasion, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán invited his Polish counterpart, Mateusz Morawiecki, to Budapest in order to celebrate the Poles’ support for this Hungarian struggle with them.
