We Did It!

There’s good news — and bad news — and some more good news.

The good news first:

Even in the face of unprecedented corporate censorship and de-platforming, we have reached and surpassed our fundraising goal of $100,000. Our total now stands at 420 donations totaling $101,776.93. I want to thank everyone who has donated for your loyal and generous support.

Of the total raised so, $1,605 will be matched by the generous donor who offered us a $5,000 matching grant to get our fundraiser over the top — and then some. That means that there is still $3,995 to go on the matching grant, so if you have not given yet, there is still an ample incentive to do so. The matching grant had two strings attached:

  1. The donor wants $10,000 earmarked to producing translations of The White Nationalist Manifesto into other European languages. Thus far, a Swedish translation has been published. Translations into Ukrainian, Spanish, German, and Portuguese have been produced and are now in the editing process. Translations into German, French, Italian, Dutch, and Norwegian are underway.
  2. The postmark deadline for donations is Tuesday, December 24 — Christmas Eve.

So if you think The White Nationalist Manifesto is a worthy book to circulate in other European languages, every dollar you donate until midnight, Pacific Standard Time, on December 24 will be matched up to a total of $5,000. I want to thank the donor who offered this grant — and thank all of you for your loyal suport.

Now the bad news:

Close on the heels of Counter-Currents being completely de-platformed from Amazon.com, which accounts for more than 70% of the global book market, Barnes and Noble has followed suit. Barnes and Noble has been declining for years, but they still account for about 9% of the global book trade, which means that between two retailers, Amazon and B&N, Counter-Currents has now been shut out of 80% of the global book trade.

This is part of a campaign of censorship and economic warfare spearheaded by the organized Jewish community against White Nationalists. They are doing this because they want to put Counter-Currents out of business.

The other good news is that they won’t succeed, because:

  1. 95% or more of the impact of everything I have written was from publishing it online. The core of Counter-Currents from the start has been our webzine.
  2. Book publishing always merely broke even. Therefore . . .
  3. What has always kept Counter-Currents going is the generosity of donors like you.

There are several ways to help us out.

1. Credit Cards

In 2019, Counter-Currents was de-platformed from five credit card processors. We applied to a couple of other processors but were turned down. In the process of applying, we discovered that Counter-Currents has been put on the so-called MATCH list, a credit card industry blacklist reserved for vendors with high rates of chargebacks and fraudulent transactions. This is completely inapplicable to Counter-Currents. Thus our placement on this list is simply a lie — a financially damaging lie — that is obviously political in motivation.

Fortunately, we have now found a new processor that will take single and recurring donations. Please click here [2].

2. Bank Transfers

It is also possible to support Counter-Currents with bank transfers, which can be single or recurring. Please click here [2] and choose the Bank Transfer option.

If your bank does free money transfers to other banks in the US, please contact me at [email protected] [3].

3. Gift Cards

Gift cards are a useful way to make donations. Gift cards are available with all the major credit cards as well as from major retailers. You can either send gift cards as donations (either electronically or through the mail) or you can use them to make donations. Simply buy a prepaid credit card and click here  [2]to use it. If you can find a place that sells gift cards for cash, they are as anonymous as sending cash and much safer.

4. Checks and Money Orders

[4]Sometimes the old ways are best. The least “de-platformable” way to send donations to Counter-Currents is to put a check or money order in the mail. Simply print and complete the Word [5] or PDF [6] donation form and mail it to:

Counter-Currents Publishing, Ltd.
P.O. Box 22638
San Francisco, CA 94122
USA
[email protected]

Thank you, Boomers, for keeping your checkbooks, envelopes, and stamps. There are youngsters reading this site who have never written a check or put a letter in the mail.

5. Bill Payment Services

If you wish to make monthly donations by mail, see if your bank has a bill payment service. Then all you need to do is set up a monthly check to be dispatched by mail to our PO box. This check can be made out to Counter-Currents or to Greg Johnson. After the initial bother of setting it up, you never have to think about it again.

6. Crypto-Currencies

In addition to old-fashioned paper donations, those new-fangled crypto-currencies are a good way to circumvent censorious credit card corporations.

7. The Counter-Currents Foundation

Note: Donations to Counter-Currents Publishing are not tax deductible. We do, however, have a 501c3 tax-exempt educational corporation called The Counter-Currents Foundation. If you want to make a tax-deductible gift, please email me at [email protected] [3]. You can send donations by mail to:

The Counter-Currents Foundation
P.O. Box 22638
San Francisco, CA 94122
USA

8. Remember Us in Your Will

Finally, we would like to broach a very delicate topic: your will. If you are planning your estate, please think about how you can continue helping the cause even after you are gone. The essay Majority Estate Planning [9]” contains many helpful suggestions.

Remember: those who fight for the Golden Age live in it today.

Thank you again for your loyal readership and generous support.
