Courtesy to Women

2,984 words

If a great and powerful ruler is riding his horse, and he comes upon a woman crossing the road, should he continue riding, or should he stop? If he continues riding, his horse may knock her over. If he stops, he will be acknowledging that she has rights that he is obliged to respect, despite his power.

The answer to this question in European societies is that the powerful ruler should stop. The answer in traditional Muslim societies appears to have been that he should continue riding.  Read more …

Two Images

My first image is of armed Oathkeepers, acting under the delusion that they are police officers, ejecting an alt-right man from a public park in Houston. The event occurred during a recent protest over supposed leftist threats to a statue of the man who gave the city its name.

A Nigger in the Woodpile

3,969 words

Early in Erle Stanley Gardner’s first Perry Mason novel, The Case of the Velvet Claws, Gardner’s lawyer-detective finds himself questioning a young woman, one of the occupants of a spacious home in which a murder has just occurred. Norma Veitch has already been grilled by the police, as Mason learns: “They acted as though they thought they had discovered the nigger in the woodpile . . . They took me upstairs, and gave me what they call a third degree, I guess.” Read more …

Tana Mongeau is an attractive and generally likeable performer on YouTube. She is eighteen, though some of her critics suspect that she may be fibbing about her age. “So the last shall be first . . .”
Alinsky’s Farting Negroes

Saul Alinsky

1,842 words

The term “negritude” (roughly self-aware blackness) came into common currency in the 1930s and 1940s among a loose alliance of francophone Black poets and intellectuals, most them from France’s colonial empire. It was part of their campaign to destigmatize blackness and to assert the special qualities of their African heritage. The most important figure in this influential movement for négritude was likely Leopold Senghor, a poet and professor of African languages who later became the first president of Senegal. Black Crime & a Well-Meaning White Lady

wendy_bell2,199 words

Last month there was a mass shooting of Blacks in Wilkinsburg, a high-crime suburb of Pittsburgh. As CNN reported, “two gunmen turned a backyard cookout into a bloodbath in Wilkinsburg, Pennsylvania, leaving six people dead — including a pregnant woman — and a community grasping for answers.” The massacre, described in the media as a “deadly backyard ambush,” may have been drug-related.

Jewish Hypocrisy:
An Idle Speculation

wolf_in_sheeps_clothing2,412 words

A hypocrite is someone who professes specific moral convictions, while violating his professions by his actual behavior. A hypocrite resembles, as Charles Dickens tells us, “a direction-post, which is always telling the way to a place, and never goes there.”

A preacher who condemns prostitution but patronizes prostitutes is a hypocrite, as is a bank president who embezzles from his bank but rages against bank robbers. Read more …

Responses to Holocaust Provocations

vampirella_20002,376 words

A few days ago I came across by chance a Holocaust tale in series of old comic books from the late 1990s.

That is not at all surprising. It is difficult to go through a day without encountering some Holocaust propaganda. If you have functioning eyes and ears, it would be close to impossible to go through a week without encountering any. Read more …
