An Alt Right Take on The Bridge Over the River Kwai

2,464 words

Pierre Boulle
The Bridge Over the River Kwai
The Vanguard Press, 1954

The Bridge Over the River Kwai – the novel, not the film – contains so many contradictions that it’s hard to keep them all in one’s mind.

For the Alt Right today, this semi-fictional story, written by Pierre Boulle, can serve as both an inspiration and a cautionary tale. Read more …

Remembering Jack London:
January 12, 1876–November 22, 1916

442 words

Jack London was born John Griffith Chaney in San Francisco on January 12, 1876. An adventurer and Jack of all trades in his youth, London achieved fame and fortune as a fiction writer and journalist. But he never forgot his working class roots and remained a life-long advocate of workers’ rights, unionism, and revolutionary socialism. (See his essay “What Life Means to Me.”) Read more …

The Lord of the Rings:
The Return of the Meme

3,171 words

We owe a great debt of gratitude to J. R. R. Tolkien, who embodied the medieval bardic tradition, and penned his epic tale in rebuke of mechanized modernity. I doubt even Tolkien could have predicted that some fifty years later, his story would look more like prophecy than fable. Then again, Tolkien probably sensed Europe had entered its twilight. The Great European Civil War of the twentieth century, which Tolkien fought in during its first phase, impressed upon him that modernity, with its unrelenting industry (capitalism) and hi-tech weaponry, was destroying the West. Remembering J. R. R. Tolkien:
January 3, 1892 to September 2, 1973

446 words

“I am in fact a Hobbit.”—J. R. R. Tolkien

John Ronald Reuel Tolkien is a favorite author of New Left “hippies” and New Right nationalists, and for pretty much the same reasons. Tolkien deeply distrusted modernization and industrialization, which replace organic reciprocity between man and nature with technological dominion of man over nature, a relationship that deforms and devalues both poles. Been Down So Long It Looks Alt Right to Me

DEATHTOTHEWORLD: an interracial racist love story
Evohum Press, 2016

“I feel like the dirt on the ground. I can’t tell up from down anymore.”

In modern society, only the so-called or self-styled “racist” is the true free-thinker, the true outsider. If so, then the race-realists must assert their identification with, and take for their own, the literature – or literatures – of the Outsider.
