Suing the SPLC

Poverty is Where the Money Is: The SPLC’s headquarters

3,141 words

The Southern Poverty Law Center suffered a well-publicized setback in the summer of 2018 when it agreed to pay $3.375 million to the Quilliam Foundation and its founder Maajid Nawaz for wrongly placing them on a 2016 list of “anti-Muslim extremists.” Nawaz, a former Islamic extremist turned moderate, has been critical of Islamic extremism (for example, the ban on Muhammad depictions), and for this he was smeared by the SPLC. Age of Cringe:
Alt-Right: Age of Rage

2,003 words

Based on a few clips, I was certain that Alt-Right: Age of Rage (2018) would lead to permanent physical damage from sheer cringiness. But I was delighted to have been proven wrong. This is a remarkably fair-minded documentary. On balance, though, I think it will be good for white identity politics. Age of Rage was directed by Adam Bhala Lough, an American of partial South Asian descent.

The Proud Boys’ Lesson

The brawl between the Proud Boys and the Antifa in New York on October 12.

1,275 words

The Proud Boys could only have arisen in the Trump era. A multi-racial fraternity dedicated to “Western chauvinism” and brawling with the Antifa is not something the Tea Party could have produced.

There’s always been an element of the ridiculous in the Proud Boys. Read more …

The Alt Lite & the Spectrum Axis

1,775 words

It is a very simple idea.

Remember that in the film Moneyball, the new Assistant General Manager, Peter Brand, said that “it’s all about getting things down to one number.” Like Spearman’s g, but for baseball. A single number which could establish a player’s objective worth. Read more …

On Gavin McInnes & the Alt Lite

2,064 words

Recently, Gavin McInnes, our friend over at Taki’s Magazine, helpfully released a video entitled “What is the Alt Right?” In it, he does a pretty good job of describing who (or what) most of us are, dividing us into the “Alt Lite,” the “Alt Right,” and everyone else. Read more …

Reframing White Nationalism

3,120 words

four-generationsWhat do we want? A white ethnostate. Much has been written about this elusive state, and I am sure there is much controversy and difference of opinion about it, so I won’t attempt to define it here. Suffice to say that the ethnostate will be a nation state founded by whites, for whites, and it will be free of the racial chaos and strife which has come to characterize multi-racial societies. White Nationalism may have many goals, but the ethnostate is the first and most important one, and to achieve it will be to win. So far so good.  Read more …

The Dallas Massacre, the Tyranny of Bullshit, & the Pseudo Alt-Right

DallasShooter1,180 words

“Black lives matter, Blue Lives Matter, All lives matter” — Bang! Bang! Bang! Splatter splatter splatter!”

Right now, the media — both the old desiccated mainstream version and the snarky shitposty memey new version, powered by the autistic and lonely — has a glint in its eye, a bounce in its step, and a tremulous quaver in its voice. In other words it has something to bang on about — a bit like the sniper(s) and other assorted thugs in Dallas, Read more …

Confessions of a “Transphobic”

Gavin McInnes: mug shot of a thought criminal

Gavin McInnes: mug shot of a thought criminal

1,200 words

I never had a chance to read Gavin McInnes’ article “Transphobia is Perfectly Natural,” since Thought Catalog has taken it down. (But we can read outraged reactions from around the web.) McInnes has apparently been hounded out of his job as chief creative officer of something called Rooster, which I am too unhip to have heard of.
