Příliš velká výhra? Zamyšlení nad výsledky voleb v Maďarsku

1,119 slov

English original here

Read more …

Hungary in 2018 lies under a pall of darkness. Its citizens, kept in thrall by being fed a steady diet of fear of imaginary threats, unbridled racism, and cynical hatemongering through the government’s relentless propaganda, are cowed and starving, but dare not speak out, as the government brutally cracks down on the slightest dissent. Chairman Soros’ (Not So) New Directive

George Soros

1,025 words

Maybe some of you can still remember those golden years, when the main proof of the dictatorial nature of a number of regimes within “the axis of evil” was that they allowed only restricted access to the internet. This distant past ended the day before yesterday, when George Soros, suddenly becoming a fierce enemy of Facebook and Google, predicted that the new lethal weapon of “the enemies of open societies” would be an alliance of digital technologies and authoritarianism. The Soros-Bergoglio Axis

2,074 words

I know that many readers of Counter-Currents are anti-Christian, as a subset of their larger rejection of universalist ideologies that are color-blind and race-blind. This was the position of the late Revilo P. Oliver, whose life-long study of religions had led him to the conclusion that both liberalism and Marxism were “succedaneous religions”— Read more …

Will Europe belong to Europeans?

Viktor Orbán

6,808 words

Viktor Orbán’s speech at the 28th Bálványos Summer Open University and Student Camp, July 22, 2017, Tusnádfürdő (Băile Tuşnad, Romania)

First of all, I’d like to remind everyone that we started a process of collective thinking 27 years ago in Bálványosfürdő, a few kilometres from here. That is where we came to a realisation. Just think back: at that time, at the beginning of the nineties, most people – not only in Hungary, but also across the whole of Central Europe – thought that full assimilation into the Western world was just opening up to us again. And the Winner is . . . Apathy

Viktor Orbán

2,473 words

The results of Hungary’s referendum on the EU’s migrant quotas are in: most Hungarians don’t want to allow the EU to force them to accept migrants, but don’t care enough to bother going to the polls to vote against it.  Read more …
