If there is one universal truth about humanity, it’s that we are, by nature, tribalistic. We identify with our tribe, whatever that tribe may be. In a monoracial society, tribalist loyalties can form around clans, nations, religions, classes, or even actual tribes, as is the case in many places in Africa.
