Excellent, thank you. I would like to quote Pound in regard to his idea about Fascism from JEFFERSON and/or MUSSOLINI pg. 98
This is not to say I “advocate” fascism in and for America, or that I think fascism is possible in America without Mussolini, any more than I or any enlightened bolshevik thinks communism is possible in america without Lenin.
I think the american system de jure is posbably quite good enough, if there were only 500 men with guts and the sense to USE it, or even with the capacity for answering letters, or printing a paper.

In the same book Pound recommends reading the Autobiography of Martin Van Buren. Annual report of the American Historical Association, 1918, Vol. 2, Washington, Government Printing Office, 1920. (if it can be gotten – H)
Mr. Van Buren pointed out the discrepancy between the funds at the president’s disposal, and the funds at the bank’s disposal. He pointed out the discrepancies of Dan’l Webster. And when he had really finished that Job he quit writing. rather American centric I know.

Would you mind if I posted this article on my site?

    Thanks for the encouraging comments.
In reply to Helvena, who has an excellent site of which I had not been aware, I would be pleased for the article to be reprinted, there, or anywhere else.

It’s worth noting that Huey P. Long who was a credible threat to FDR and who probably would have kept the US out of WW2 was assassinated by a Jew.

This is wonderful, and I hope you expand and publish the series. How could we go about getting copies of the Pound pamphlets to which you refer?
