Australian Artists of the Right, Part I
Lionel Lindsay

Lionel Lindsay

5,188 words

Background: Australianity

Nietzsche was a seminal influence on the brothers Norman and Lionel Lindsay, as he was on many other contemporary aesthetes, artists, and literati of the Right, including their fellow Australian, P. R. Stephensen, who was cured of his Communism at Oxford by the Philosopher.[1] When Stephensen returned to Australia, after a publishing venture in Britain, he did so as an avid Australian nationalist, and soon as an “Australian National Socialist,” Read more …

The Zionist Factor in Africa:
Mossad & Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela meeting with Israeli PM Shimon Peres in Johannesburg in 2002.

4,300 words

During the 1980s, when the offensive against South Africa (SA) was at its height, the Right was focused on the prospect of the Soviet Union taking over the mineral wealth and strategic position of SA. I recall this because I was among those in New Zealand speaking in favor of SA, and using this specter as the main reason for opposing the anti-SA campaigns, albeit among the few who also defended white self-determination. The Fallacy of Progress

2,835 words

Our “progressive” obsessions for change neglect to consider consequences. Change is demanded for the sake of a fad or a slogan: “equality,” “democracy,” “reproductive rights” . . . Even a word of caution is damned as “reactionary,” “old-fashioned,” or “fascist.” Traditions, customs, and beliefs are regarded as being as transient as the planned obsolescence of computers. Joséphin Péladan & the Occult War Against Liberal Decadence

Joséphin Péladan, as painted by Marcellin Desboutin in 1891

1,665 words

France gave the world the French Revolution in 1789. It was an epochal event, albeit a symptom of a line of cultural decadence that gave birth to both liberalism and Communism, and which remains a pall over the entire West and wherever the West reaches. It is ironic that those who were condemned as “collaborators” in France during and after the Second World War were for years prior to the war the most vociferous in their lamentations regarding the decadence of the French Republic. 1848–1948: Years of Decision

Sir Oswald Mosley, 1949

1,317 words

Earlier this year, Counter-Currents put out a request for the text of the following essay, given that the original copy which we had was incomplete due to having been partially eaten by rats. Fortunately, we were able to locate the complete text, and it is reproduced below, as it will be in our upcoming Yockey anthology, The World in Flames. The Preface is by Dr. Kerry Bolton. — John Morgan

Stephen Mitford Goodson: In Memoriam

1,610 words

Stephen Mitford Goodson, as his name suggests, was related to the Mitfords of Diana Mosley and Unity fame. Having served on the editorial board of The Barnes Review, he is most remembered by the imbecilic and notably unreliable Wikipedia and other sundry scum as a “holocaust denier” and for being “anti-Semitic” because the entirety of the world is supposed to be Judeocentric. However, Goodson arrived at his conclusions through his academic and professional backgrounds in economics and finance. Read more …

Revilo P. Oliver & Francis Parker Yockey

1,718 words

The writings of Francis Parker Yockey have fascinated the far Right for a half-century and more. I would argue that the person most responsible for this popularity is the late classics professor Revilo P. Oliver. While Prof. Oliver had little practical input in the distribution of Yockey writings (that credit would go more to Willis Carto and George Dietz), it was Oliver’s imprimatur that lent Yockey a gravitas that ensured he would be cherished as something other than the author of some controversial, obscurantist tracts.  Read more …

Trotting the Colors of Global Capitalism in New Zealand

Global Capitalism shows its colors: New Zealand’s flag celebrating its British roots (L) vs. the Corporate Logo (R) preferred by both global business interests & Trotskyites

4,489 words

On 28 October an annual ‘flag day’ was to be celebrated under the auspices of the New Zealand National Front. This has taken place every year since 2004, at the grounds of Parliament each year other than one. There is indeed an established ‘Flag Day’ but it seems that the NZNF is the only group that has been celebrating it.  Read more …

The Counter-Currents 2017 Fundraiser

New Francis Parker Yockey Discoveries

Francis Parker Yockey (right). Date, location, & friend unknown.

799 words

This week, our fundraising appeal is from Kerry Bolton, who is authoring what will surely be the definitive biography of  Francis Parker Yockey. Recently, I paid a substantial amount for Yockey-related materials that belonged to the late Willis Carto. Thus I am making a special appeal to cover the cost of that purchase. I will make all these items available to Dr. Bolton and other researchers.

Reading Marx Right:
A “Reactionist” Interpretation of The Communist Manifesto

Oswald Spengler, who attempted to fuse socialism with the Right.

5,190 words

There is much about The Communist Manifesto that is valid from a Rightist viewpoint – if analyzed from a reactionary perspective. One does not need to be a Marxist to accept that a dialectical interpretation of history is one of several methods by which history can be studied, albeit not in a reductionist sense, but in tandem with other methods such as, in particular, the cyclical morphology of Oswald Spengler,[1] the economic morphology of civilizations as per Brooks Adams,[2] the cultural vitalism of Yockey,[3] and the heroic vitalism of Carlyle. José Antonio Primo de Rivera, Part 2

JoseAntonio3,851 words

Part 2 of 2

The Spanish Civil War was a total war, a literal battle of good against evil, as the Republican forces, Social Democrats, Communists, and anarchists, burnt churches and killed priests and nuns[1] in a blood frenzy that brought hell to Spain. They were opposed by the core of the old military led by General Francisco Franco, joined by the militias of the monarchist Carlist movement and the Falangists. Read more …

Wotan as Archetype:
The Carl Jung Essay

Franz von Stuck, "The Wild Hunt"

Franz von Stuck, The Wild Hunt, 1899

9,822 words

In the denazification atmosphere following World War II Carl Jung, founder of analytical psychology, found himself accused of having ‘Nazi’ sympathies. While Jung was a man of the ‘Right’[1] his essay explaining Hitlerism as an evocation of Wotan as a repressed archetype of the German collective unconscious put him on the long suspect list of intellectuals who were accused of being apologists for National Socialism.[2] He was fortunate to have been in a neutral nation in the aftermath of World War II.

Aleister Crowley (1875–1947), samozwańcza „Wielka Bestia 666” stał się postacią na trwale obecną zarówno w środowiskach okultystycznych jak i we współczesnej kulturze popularnej. Jedni wychwalają go jako filozofa, maga i proroka. Przez innych jest potępiany jako zdeprawowany egomaniak. W większości wypadków postrzega się go przez pryzmat jego ekscentrycznych, nierzadko szokujących zachowań.  Read more …
